Ive been seraching for the creative Zen at a good price for ages now and no mater how hard i try i cant seem to get it below the dixons price.

Does anyone know if it is any cheaper anywhere else than 150 notes? it seems like a bragin although i wud prefer it to be cheaper

The episodes are in DIVX format.

I can easily convert the files using WINAVI converter which takes bout 40 mins alot less time to convert them to dvd vob files.

Having said that even when they are converted and then imported into dvd workshop it still takes along time to burn the cd with a menu.

Hello people out there!

I was wondering if anyone out there can help me with a dvd problem i have. I have recently downloaded some episodes about 30 odd. From a very popular yet old tv series and I was wondering if people could help me out with regard to burning them to dvd.

Each episode is approx 80 meg and 20 mins long and I was wondering what is the best program to encode these files quickly and add a simple menu with a good background and poss some buttons.

I have Nero 6.0 (doesnt allow you to create menus)
Ulead DVD Workshop 2
Win AVI converter

If i use Dvd Workshop and add the simplest of menus it takes forever to burn a dvd literally hrs and hrs and thats a 2Ghz pc with 256mb of ram and loadsa HD.

Can you people PLEASE recommend a better and quicker way of burning them to cd and how many can i reallistclly fit onto 1 dvd at a time. How long should it be taking to burn each dvd with approx 3 episodes on?

Hello I have recently purchased a dvd writer 6 speed i think and have started to copy some of my 700mb movies but have come across a few probelms and I was wondering if anyone out there can be of some assistance

Firstly i am using Ulead dvd moviefactory to make my dvds and i have come across many problems including

If i want to make a simple menu with just a background image and a icon button for my movie this takes hours and hours to create because the program says it has to render the menu to the movie and i mean hours
I have tried putting chapters into my movie to break it up but i dont know how many i should have. I am currently using 10 chapters for my movie file which is about 90 mins long and it is still taking hours and hours to render.

I need your help anyone outhere please to advise me on either how to go about creating dvds with simple menus with ease that dont need to take hours to render with ulead moviefactory or suggesting to me another program which i should use. I have currently got nero express version 6 aswell but it doesnt let me make menus or insert avi`s or mpegs onto dvs just dvd vob files.

PLease can someone help???

I agree that they should allow room for new shows and ideas but the WB should have let a final season been comissioned so the writers can end the show the way they wanted to and not cancel the show by telling them half way through this season.

I agree 4 million is a low figure,,, i mean soaps here get 12m +

Angel is a good show and i believe that WB should listen to what the wants want and not decide themselves what they think the money should go into after all without the fans they would have NO MONEY

I was just wondering what people thought about this great show being dumped by WB

If you take a look at savingangel.com or.org you see that they`ve rasied a staggering $17,424.22! to help save the show which i think is good for trying to save a single show.

After Buffy being dumped then Futurama by Fox and friends finshing and now Angel I wonder what other good shows are gonna be next?

DVD`s Without Cases

Hello there peeps

When i went into my local blockbuster the other day i noticed that they had quite a few bargains on their dvds without the cases such as star trek nemesis igby goes down as well as a few others for £3.99.

A similar incident happened at my local woolies they had the new charlie chaplin dvd set on the shelves for £22 and then they had the same dvds in a "lost its case" wallet for £3.99

I was just wondering if anybody else has come across any other shops or similar stores which offer the dvds without the boxes at good prices. Some good bargains can be picked up.

Hello there ppl.I was wondering if you nice people could help me out with a problem. I want to buy the new Ric Flair dvd that is out for my brother for christmas. The only problem is that i can`t seem to find anywhere that has it. Region 2 isn`t coming out until the end of january and play.com aren`t getting it until then either which is a bit strange seeing as its been out in america for a good few weeks now.

I`ve rung up the official site silvervision.co.uk and they say that there getting it in on the 15th but there expecting some postal strikes between then and christmas. Usless service.

Can anyone recommend a good swebsite that they think will have it delivered before christmas.

Okay people i`ve done a search for the first series of malcom in the middle (R1) as its not coming out on R2. using dvdpricecheck.co.uk and it seems that the cheapest place to get it from is play for £19.99.

However playUSA or whatever the ba**ards are calling themselves now put Customs charges on my order.

So my question to you nice people out there is simple do i get it from play for £19.99 PLUS customs or do i get it from another site such as movietyme for £25???

Can anyone recommend a good decent quick shipping R1 site that i can try that won`t chrage me customs???

Anyway i was wondering what is the quickest and easiest way to get sky digital from the main lounge area to my bedroom without drilling holes and feeding wires if poss and where how do i do it?????

I was just wondering if anyone out there can help me. a few weeks ago Aldi had a special offer on infa red keyboards and mice and also a tv card for £29.99.

I brought the tv card and have installed it and it works fine channels appear although a bit fuzzy down to poor aerial and the radio also works fine. The only problem is that when i try to capture off it i get picture but no sound.

It works using POWER VCR 3.0 and i was wondering which of the settings i need to fix

stero, wave, line in, or AUX???? it is hooked up to my soundcard and i do get sound when i just want to watch or listen to the channels but not when i capture any help would be greatly appericated

Aldi have once again come through with their Medion computer gear. Today they were selling a wireless keyboard & mouse for £20 and a PCI tv tuner card. I brought the keyboard and mouse which works a treat but i was wondering if anyone else got the Tv Tuner Card and is it any good to capture stuff from TV???

Celebrities Who think their better!

I have recently had the plesure of working with a very popular celebrity on her show as a set assistant and the day i met her i said "hello" and greeted her in a warm and v polite way, her response was to look at me up & down and walk out of the room without saying hi back

I was just wondering if anyone else has ever met a celebrity who thought that they were too good to talk to normal folk like myself. or a similar experience.

I ask you they wouldn`t BE CELEBRITIES if it wasn`t for us watching their bloody shows.
Incase your wondering who this person is lets just say i`m count(ing)down the days were i get to meet the miserable unpolite person again.
