Hi I got given the code below to make the Samsung P142 Multiregion, but it seems to play films in black and white. Anyone got a working code that will allow full play back in colour please?

open the dvd with no disc inside (no disc mode)
press repeat on the RC

Hi all, I`m after some advice, I`m just after some cheap and cheerfull DVD Player that will play whatever I throw in it, be Multiregion and also have Macrovision Disabled.

Heard the Umax Yamada DVX-6600 is a good budget player, but is this one multiregion and could i turn macrovision off?

Just allows you to record from your DVD Player mate, so if you want it on VHS then I`d say it was important. If your not bothered about recording stuff from your DVD Player then I`d say it is not important, a nice feature to have though

Whats the best DVD Player to buy?

What is the best DVD Player to buy for use at home with a TV for playing DVD`s, VCD`s, MP3`s and anything that you can throw at it? Oh yeah must be multi region and able to disable macrovision.

And where can i purchase one and for how much?

Just weird though how i`ve got Traxdata CDR`s that work on my DVD player, but then again some of the same one`s won`t play on it.

Is there nothing that can be done to the player to make it play them? As when it does play VCD`s it comes up with VCD highlighted on the left hand side.

Where can i get Princo or Vivastar for a decent price then?

Got a Sony DVP NS300 which has been chipped, having no problems with it being Multi region as it`s sound. Just got 2 problems though that i`ve listed below. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

i can`t play Audio CD`s that i have made myself, any ideas why?

Can`t always play VCD`s even though they are the same brand as the one`s that work, and also they all work instantly on my PC. Just comes up with a message saying "no disk"

SONY DVP S336 Region Hack needed

I`m after a Multi Region Hack for the SONY DVP S336 It`s a pretty old DVD Player now, so I thought that someones gotta know a hack for this one.

Sony DVP NS300 DVD Player

I bought one of these for £180 from richersounds which was already chipped, I entered the code provided in the box and it is now multi region.

However, this code did not disable the macrovision, so does anyone know a code to disable macrovision or anyway around this?
