RE: Future Entertainment

I got Changing Lanes from Future Entertainment.

Unfortunately they sent me a Canadian DVD. Unlike advertised in their web-site IT HAS NOT GOT Alternate Endings!!

Caveat Emptor!!!

RE: Dansai 955 RGB Problem

Toshiba RGB fault

I also have a 4 year old Toshiba as the one review below.
http://www.homecinemachoice.com/testbench/Televisions/Toshiba/Toshiba2577DB.shtml

Toshiba RGB by nature shows a green hue and limits contrast significantly. Great for bright console games, CRAP for digital TV or DVD. It was never their strongest point. That is why even on their latest sets they only have one RGB enabled SCART.

RE: Dansai 1010`s at tescos

I got my disk today as well, after 2 weeks, as promised. Magic. However if you do not need macro free, try the Tosh 220e. Cracking!!

RE: Tosh220/Dansai1010/cyberhome505/samsungs225

Check the following small print on the below mentioned web retailer:

NTSC compatible TV required - most modern TVs are dual NTSC/PAL

http://www.dvdplayers.co.uk/toshiba-sd220e.htm

Remember that Tesco has a 28 money back guarantee, Argos a 14 day.

Why don´t you buy the equipment, see if you like it, if not return within time for a full refund (original box etc.). All you need to say is it does not meet your requirements.

RE: NTSC to Pal 50 fps question?

I set my Dansai 1010 to from AUTO to HI-Resolution and overcame panning jitter problem. e.g. opening sequence of Disney´s Beauty & the Beast.

RE: Tosh220/Dansai1010/cyberhome505/samsungs225

The tosh does not output NTSC as PAL 50. I would had bought one, but my 5 year old toshiba dolby sorround telly would not take it. I have a dansai 1010 because of that.

Dansai 1010. Best DVD Multiregion Player for under £100?

I bought a Dansai 1010 in Milton Keynes Tesco Extra last Friday (£79.99)

Worrying thing is the unit gets quite hot, even on stand-by. Some posting in www.google.groups.com suggest unit does not last.

Shall I forkout more dosh for MR Toshiba 220???
