RE: Tarintino Boxset -Cheapest Deal I Could Find!
Thanks for the Heads up on the avforums thing, but i already bought it! no matter (only save about £3 anyways, and you have to wait!).
It is the 5 Disc set (Pulp Fiction S.E (2Disc), Jackie Brown S.E (2Disc), and Reservoir Dogs(1disc). But i think you can get a 2disc version of Reservoir Dogs now, but it doesn`t come with the box :(

Tarintino Boxset -Cheapest Deal I Could Find!
Hey all, long post after a while. Anyway, straight to the point.
I have seen the "Tarintino Boxset" (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown) on sale at HMV for £24.99! This is a tenner cheaper than all other highstreet stores and play etc. I haven`t search many inet shops as "tarintino box" doesn`t come up with any results. If u find it any cheaper give us a holler :)

Hi! I have recently read the section on hacking the SD-220e yourself, and I have failed to see where it says if hacking yourslef will make it possible to play RCE disks? Thanks

RE: does anyone know any hacks for the toshiba sd220e
Yeah um, no one seems to have said if this Hack will play RCE disks?
RE: Is Multi Region really worth it?
Ok, thanks a lot, if it works and no one has messed their machine up, i guess that I will get it R2 and then hack it, thanks for your help!

RE: Is Multi Region really worth it?
Done for Free? I have downloaded that software for the SD-220/120 Player that you have to burn on to Disk (the .bin and .cue files), it`s just i didnt really want to risk it, unless it worked for you? In which case I will get someone to burn it onto Disk for me! (I dont like Madonna anyway, no offence Madge, your too old...) Thanks.

RE: Is Multi Region really worth it?
Ok thanks guys, I am now probably going to make my player multi-region! I would do it myself, but its messy and things can go wrong! Seeing as you mention R1 discs being cheaper, which sites do you use? and also with R4, isn`t it only Latin American Languages (subtitles in English?).
Thanks! :¬)

Anyone Know....Fight Club (2 Disc)
Hello chums, just wondering if anyone knew a good place to get the Fight Club 2 Disc Set at a good price (Under £20.00). The only good place seems to be E_bay, but, well, its Ebay. Any help would be appreciated!

RE: Pioneer DV-350
You can get it on Region 2 only (not hacked) from Richer Sounds for 119.95, same price as the Tosh 220e, but there are waiting lists at some stores.

Is Multi Region really worth it?
Hey, another question, I am wanted to know weather multi_regioning for my player would be the best idea as I was thinking due to the introduction of RCE there are bound to be more things that the industry to do to stop Multi Region players. Sure this can be overcome, but only by upgrading the Firmware at a cost, seeing as a lot of support for Region 2 has been introduced, and me having no Region 1 DVD`s (would consider if its worth it), would it be wise to invest in a Multi-Region DVD?
Thx

RE: X-Box - R.I.P.?!
Hey guys, but some of you said that the X-Box had no pedigree? But neither did the Playstation, the Saturn was supposed to be essentially the slightly more powerful, and had the rep (like a fool i got one, tuh!), as did the N64, but who won? the Ps, because its full of old amiga chips, so the programers could design games for it more easily, whereas the Saturn, had new chips, but no solid games (well, not enough, Sonic R still owns). Its games support that is what makes a console (thats why the Gamecube is dead in water, i have seen the future lineup, noting.)
Also, the Xbox two is supposed to be coming out before PS3(2005, (said a very determined Mr. X-box). The infrastructure for that machine is going to leave support for the X-box drowning.
Sorry Guys!

RE: Pioneer DV350 or the Toshiba SD 220E?
Hey, thanks for those sites! I have checked them both out and I have decided to get the SD220e, apart from it having a better rating, it also has won a lot of awards for its quality etc. I will only get the Pioneer if the SD220e is not available (the 120e seems to be more available), thanks again!

Pioneer DV350 or the Toshiba SD 220E?
Hey guys i asked a while back which a better DVD player out of the Kirro X5 and the Tosh 220, and you said the the Tosh. Ok got that, but you also suggested that I should check out the Pioneer DV350, and now im all messed up as to which one to get! Once again, any help is much appreciated!
Thx

RE: Toshiba220e Multi or Not?
But with Multi Regioning, doesn`t it mean that you may have to upgrade the Firmware at times? Especially with RCE coming out.

RE: Toshiba SD125 DVD PLayer
I always thought that the SD-220 was the replacement for the SD-120?

RE: Have what I heard True about the Pioneer DV-350?
Ok, thanks a lot for your info guys.
RE: MP3 players (off topic)
You could either get the Rio 600, wich a friends of mine ordered from Ebay, or the now cheap Yepp Hip-Hop which I have got, Software is a bit of a pain, but more expandable. Both come with the 64mb (1 Hour) memory option.

Have what I heard True about the Pioneer DV-350?
I was looking at www.amazon.co.uk today, and one of the reviewers said that the Toshiba 220E had poor Picture quality compared to the Pioneer DV-350, as it has 2 Laser reads? Is this true?
