Thanks,

I`ll check these out

Good starter machine...

Anyone offer some advice on which of the following to go for as a first time machine...

I can get a Pioneer 350, a Philips 634 or a JVC XVS300 all for around £106.

Alternatively I can get a Panasonic RV32 or a Pioneer 454 for about £120.

Which is the best? Also, are there any particular models of these machines to go for, or avoid. I`m looking for a multi region or hackable model.

As to what DVDs they should play I`m afraid I don`t know a VCD from LSD! All I want is something trouble free and easy to use.

Thanks.

RE: Cheapest DVDs or what ??

Hanging my head in shame!!! Being new to the DVD marketplace and looking to buy one of these machines can anyone tell me what a VCD is and how it differs from an ordinary DVD???
