They had about 50 at the Tesco Superstore in Peterborough last night. They were generating strong interest even though, at the time, there was no big "Super Duper Bargain" banner near them.

There was a few of the cheap laptops too but, to me, they did not look any better or worse than the usual Lidl fare.

By coincidence I`ve already got SIX e3300 handsets in my 4 storey house. Work perfectly although this is the maximum networkable configuration.

Picked up an extra couple of boxes. At this price, my parents can have a handset for every room in the house!!!

Between adding to my basket and making the purchase, both these titles went up to £5.09!! >:( Cancelled both items right away.

Instead I pre-ordered the complete second series of ER for only £23.99 which is a complete bargain (£31.99 at Amazon). They`d better not change that price.

No pound or euro sign although you can set up some shortcut keys for this.

Funny arrangement of @ and " keys too. As long as you select USA keyboard layout, you`ll be fine.

The adapter will accept 110V/240V although you may need to replace the plug for a UK 3 pin spec.

This base unit is nothing like you can get in PC World (any more)

PC World are intent on plugging faster and faster machines on a generally unsuspecting Joe Public who need nothing like the performance they offer.

As Dusty says, aside from being quite big and ugly, this base unit is perfect for anything up to moderate gaming.

However, if you`re happy to install your own CPU, optical drive, hard drive and RAM, you can built a really nice compact unit using one of these

I`ve built two for my parents and sister and they are without doubt, the best value attractive compact barebones unit on the market at the moment.
