RE: Grundig Hack

Hello, i have a Grundig 210 and the hack is as follows

open tray an put in R1 disc

type in 0 1 2 3

close tray

It should now bw multi-region and play enhanced R1.
As i say this is a hack for the GDV 210, but it may work for the 220. Tell me either way.

RE: Will Enhanced regional coding mess up my life!

Ok i tried Hollow Man on my Grundig and it worked just fine so i assume that all Enhanced R1 discs will work. But you know what they say about assumptions being the mother of all fu.................

RE: Will Enhanced regional coding mess up my life!

Thaks for the replies. My freind is loning me a R1 copy of Hollow Man tonight, so i will tell you if it worked or not.

Will Enhanced regional coding mess up my life!

OK i have a Grundig GDV210 which is made multi region with the old 0123 hack. Now does anyone know if it will or will not be able to play the enhanced region one dvds. If not is there any way i can make it work.
Please help me.

RE: DO THESE CODES HAVE TO BE RE-ENTERED EVERY TIME?

Yeah same here, mine is a Grundig GDV210 i set it once and its been multi ever since. When i got it upgraded to play the Matrix and such, it disabled it though. But i just stuck the code in again and its been fine.

Enhanced region coding, will it mess up my life?

OK what is enhanced region coding?, and will it prevent me from playing R1 discs. I have a Grundig GDV210 (no laughing) and it is region 2 only, i use the remote hack (the 0123 one) and it plays everthing fine, will this enhanced coding spoil my multi region fun.

RE: Will it freeze: Bush DVD-2009

Will it freeze: Bush DVD-2009

Hi, i have just bought as a gift for my Dad, a Bush DVD-2009.
When testing it i found that it played both R1 & R2 discs perfectly well without any kind of hack. Now my problem is that i have heard of players that play R1 a few times and then sieze up and stop working.
Is my Bush player on of these players?
Does such a problem really exist?
If yes what should i do to keep it multi region but still working?

Please help me.

Tony
