RE: Have you ever walked out of a film?
Almost walked out of Land of the Dead. Didn`t want to see it in the cinema, but I needed something to keep me busy between the end of Night Watch and the start of A History of Violence Yup, I spent a long time in the cinema that day
Oh yeah, I saw Serenity in the evening too :)

RE: What are the best film dvds without a Cinema release?
Saw Mean Creek in the cinema last year (along the same time as Sin City and The Jacket). One of my favourite movies of last year.
How about The Boondock Saints?

RE: Anyone seen Bittersweet Life?
Saw it at Frightfest last year.
I found it too be a highly entertaining movie with nice comic moments and action sequences, which reminded me of Hong Kong movies in the 80s.
Unfortunately, I didn`t find it as gripping or satisfying as Kim Ji Woon`s earlier `A Tale of Two Sisters` or the revenge-themed `Oldboy`, mainly due to the muddled plot and conclusion.
Still worth watching imo.

RE: LoveFilm - Utterly Abysmal - Decent DVD Rental Company Reccomendations
I`ve subscribed to Lovefilm, Screenselect, and Blockbuster in the past.
Screenselect was the best by a mile! Quick turnaround and good customer service imo.

RE: The worst film I have ever seen.
Worst film for me this year has been Land of the Dead - it was the first time I had ever taken my eyes away from the screen during a movie in the cinema due to boredom. I`m just glad I didn`t pay for the ticket.

If you love this movie (like I do), try Lost Highway. Much more bizarre than MD :)

RE: Composer Poll
Voted for James Newton Howard for all of his great scores especially his collaborations with director M. Night Shyamalan. Amazing stuff.
RE: Your most recent DVD purchase/What did you just buy? Thread
Received Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me today after the DVD release date was pushed back 2 weeks.
Especially good news as I`ve just finished watching the whole series (1 & 2) and it is now my fave TV show of all time :)
I remember watching the last episode when it was on telly and I was only 10 years old. Still gives me chills 15 years later :o

RE: Games that you just can`t stop playing!
Counterstrike Source
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
RE: PSP or iPOD
I think that as well as play games, you can watch movies and listen to music (mp3s) on a PSP, so I`d go for that.
RE: What tales or movies, or nightmare, tormented your childhood?
The last episode of Twin Peaks :o
RE: Favourite `Simpsons` moments...
Bart stealing Homer`s jar of pennies and getting away Indiana Jones style.
RE: What films have you seen at the cinema when you already had them at home?
Oldboy
House of Flying Daggers
2046
RE: Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance/JSA - what`re they like?
If you haven`t already, I`d also highly recommend you to check out Chanwook Park`s instalment in the Three: Extremes horror anthology, very similar in style and starring the actress who played Mido in Oldboy.
RE: Can someone recommend me an Asian film please ?
Once Upon a Time in China - Jet Li
Forbidden City Cop - Stephen Chow
Iron Monkey - Similar to OUATIC
Taegukgi - Korean war movie
Zatoichi - Takeshi Kitano
