Microsoft Remote Control for Media Centre.

I`m not sure if anyone can help but a purchased a Microsoft Media Centre Remote control with reciever (nicely made piece of kit) and have it plugged into my pc which is running XP pro. The remote has limited funtion as it is inteneded for the Media Centre software. But i`m still fairly happy as I can change channel on the tuner and operate volume controls and mute.
Does anyone know of any utillity programs or specific drivers that may be able to re-map the remote to give it more functions in XP?
Sorry for this being a little long winded for a simple question.

HI, If I understand you correctly then it is the same problem I first had. What you need to do is upload the footage through firewire to your computer for the best results.

Hi, you could always download a copy of it from some of the slightly dodgy peer to peer sites. I had a look and it downloaded quickly 19mb for the 306. Obviously if it had the information you required then you could order the manual from the printers ;) and avoid breaching the copyright.

Hi, if you use the Nokia media suite to transfer the files to your phone then it will convert them for you. I have used this quite a bit on my 6600.

I`m thinking of getting a new scanner and would like a sheet fed one so i can just dump 20 or 30 sheets into it and scan them as a batch. I dont want a singe sheet flatbed again.
Has anyone got any ideas or even got one like this and can give me the benefit of their experience.

On AOL go to keyword IMAP, i have set this up in outlook and works great for sending and recieving.

I have 3 PC`s sharing an AOL broadband connection using standard wireless kit (belkin). The broadband connection is shared using `AnalogX Proxy` which is a free down load from www.analogx.com. This works great, but the down side is the PC with the broadband connection must be booted and connected for the other PC`c on the network to access the net.
I hoped this helped.

I have spent many hundreds of pounds with SVP and only once I had one spindle of DVD+R`s that my burner did not like, I sent them back and got a refund without any problems. I would highly recommend SVP for anybody to use.

PC Remote control

Like many people here, also watch DVD`s from time to time on my PC. I was wondering if anybody here could point me in the right direction to find a cheapish remote control option for my pc. To be able to adjust volume, chapters, shut down for example.

I would be grateful if anybody here has any views on this and an answer to where I could get one cheap.

Cool, got mine delivered this lunchtime for £129.99. My Mrs. has nabbed the pay as you go sim card with 5 free texts a day for a year! and I have put my works Vodafone sim in the 7250i and unlocked the phone first time with the site metioned above.

I just oedered one, and I have not recieved a confirmation e-mail. I ordered with next working day courier so should get somthing through on Tuesday morning. Let you all know what happens and what arrives, if anything!

Having looked at the site again just now, it seems to me the this `Pick me a pretty one` is an option when buying one of th refurbished players shown above it on the same page. Meaning that they pick a player in better condition for an additional £10. But hey lets see what the company say.

Thanks for the message, I rang Orange straight away to see what the status of my order is (I ordered it last Friday). They say that it has been processed and is off to the couriers and should either be with me this Friday or next Monday. I`ll post up here to let you know what happens.

I installed this on my sons computer with similar problems. this was solved by upgrading the graffix drivers. He has a geforce 4 card. on my system with a radeon 9500 card it worked first time.
Hope this helps a bit.
