I too ordered one of these players, great value for the money (thanks to the original poster). However the DVD i received is definitely not multi-region it fails to play any of my region 1 and 3 disks.

I contacted the company (tel No is on the Invoice) and them seem pretty helpful, they say the DVD is currently out of stock however they expect some more in shortly and they will arrange an exchange.

I think perhaps they may have just forgot to Mod some of these DVDs before sending them out,. I will keep you updated on this one.

DVDSoon - Web site order problems

Hi there

I have been truing to place an order with DVD soon using there web site since Friday but every time i go to the checkout it comes up with an error shown below

Hi there,

For the last fortnight Samsung have also ignored my e-mails. So last week i got fed up and visited the Samsung website and e-mailed every person who i could find the details of my complaint this was the Sunday night.

The next day at 11am i got a voice mail from a manager at Samsung apologising for my problems and to say my cheque would be sent out the next day. It did not arrive so i contacted this manager who said they would reissue the cheque and send it registered post which they duly did and i received the said cheque yesterday.

While i was on i also complained about the customer service i received to which they replyed they where aware of the problem i was having and some knuckles had been wrapped. To be honest the service i received from this fun club was very poor and has put me off buying from this company again.

AGFA 1.3 million pixel camera £49.99 @ Dixons

Hi there, first post to this list. In tomorrows Daily Record Dixon's are advertising an AGFA 1.3 million pixel camera (model SXI.3mp) for £49.99 (it was £99.98). I was considering purchasing a digital camera soon and I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this camera I did a search on the web for reviews with out success.

The camera is also available on the Dixon's web site for £49.89
