Pioneer DVR-109 DVD+/DVD- RW Writer and NEC ND3520 16x DVD±RW Dual Layer(4x) Writer (OEM)

Hi.

I`ve just bought a Pioneer DVR-109 DVD+/DVD- RW Writer
and i carried out a test against my NEC ND3520 16x DVD±RW Dual Layer(4x) Writer (OEM) for reading and burnig using Nero

I used the same media on both, which was Datawrite Titanium (8x) DVD-R.

The outcome was it took the Pioneer DVR-109 25 minutes to read and burn the dvd, and it took the NEC ND3520 15 minutes to read and burn.

Any suggestions why it had taken the Pioneer 10 minutes longer, this unit
is brand new, where the NEC ND3520 is 6 months old.

Hi.

I recently purchased dvds from a internet dvd company based in the USA,
5 were faulty, but they replaced them, but the
ones they replaced them with, have the same problem,
also the dvd descriptions on their site seem to be misleading.

And finaley, one of the dvds has the words Sony dvd player, at the
end of the dics, you can tell it`s been recorded on a home dvd recorder,
so this must bring counterfeiting in the equation.

I have emailed them requesting a money refund, but they
will not answer my email.

Also on their site they state no cash refunds.

But considering all the above surely i have a right to a full refund.

How does the USA law work, what can i say to them, or do, to get a full money refund.

Anyone got any suggestions.

Hi.

I bought a DVD rewriter on ebay

When i bought the rewriter it came with a 1YEAR WARRANTY
i even spoke to the seller and he guaranteed me that if anything went wrong with
the unit within the warranty period i was covered.

Well 4 months has past, the rewriter is not working properly, i emailed the guy tonight,
got a email back, which reads

Hi

Company i purchased the re-writers from is no longer trading and apologise as warranty was given by them.

As i bought the rewriter from the seller, isn`t he accountable.

I have a NEC 16x (Dual Layer) DVD ReWriter ND-3500
it has become very slow, it takes double the time to read and write discs

Anyone got any suggestions i could try, the rewriter only 3 months old.

Can anyone give me any advice on the following.

My son bought a NEC c313 mobile phone from PHONES 4u, with a 28 day
warranty, and on the 26th day the phone would not charge, anyway took it back to the shop and they palmed me off saying the pins were bent in the phone, and
there was nothing they would do etc. but his friend had the same phone, so he charged the battery.

Anyway on the day after the 28 day warranty expired, the phone as stopped working all together, went back to the shop. not their problem don`t want to know.

So i would be grateful if anyone could give me any advice, as i think i`ve had a
raw deal.
