Region 1 Hack for Toshiba SD-P2800 portable DVD player

This DVD player is set to region 2. Does anyone know of a hack to allow me to play region 1 USA DVD`s?.

Region 1 Hack for Sony RDR-HXD860S DVD Hard Disk Recorder

I have purchased the above but it is set to region 2. Can anyone supply a hack that will allow me to view Region 1 USA DVD`s?

Sony RDR-HX710 DVD Recorder

Does anyone know of a Multiregion Hack for the Sony RDR-HX710 DVD recorder. I am considering geting rid of my Panasonic Video and Toshiba DVD player(which I have hacked to read Region 1DVD`s) but would like to know if the Sony can be hacked. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give. :)

XBox Hack to make Region 1 XBox able to play Region 1 and Region 2 DVDs

Can anyone advise me of a hack to make my Region 2 XBox able to play both Region 1 and Region 2 DVDs without affecting any other features of the XBox? Using your forum I have successfully hacked a Toshiba SD-2109 to play play Region 1 and Region 2 DVDs but this player can only play DVDs, Audio CDs and Video DVDs whereas my XBox appears to be able to play the above plus DVD-Rs etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Toshiba SD-2109

I have a Toshiba SD-2109 set to region 2.

Does anyone know of a remote hack that can modify this machine to play Region 1 DVDs that I have recently received from the USA? I have reviewed this sites forums and there appears to be differing views as to whether this machine can be hacked using the remote provided with the player. I have checked the most recent response to this query posted by TheDVDFish on Thursday 21st August 2003 on the Hack Help forum. When I put in the disk the TV warns "not PAL" and the DVD player states "playback restricted" instead of a region map warning.

I have tried unsuccessfully to purchase a code from DVDcodes.co.uk and would appreciate any help that anyone can give.
