The Targa Firmware Help Info says the following:-

1. Write the disc-image (Firmware_xx.iso) to a CD. Please take a look to the
help of your burn software how to do this. Just writing the file to CD is not right!
2. The folder structure on the created disc should be /lg_dvd/firmware/upgrade/lg.

I am confused!

Spiny Thanks for trying to help me.

All I have to burn discs is Veritas RecordNow software that came with my PC.
It does have a Make a Data Disc button.
Is that OK to use?

Do you have to create folders for the Targa firmware download?
If so what do I name the folders?

I have tried:- 1g_dvd/firmware/upgrade/1g/Firmware_uk_low.iso
but it did not work I just get an error message.

I am having problems creating the folders to load the Firmware.

I have done it like this: 1g_dvd/firmware/upgrade/1g/Firmware_uk_low.iso
But its not working I keep getting a disc error when I put it in the DVD player.

Lidl Targa DP5100X Freezing Problem

Has anyone else had problems with this unit freezing up when playing DVDs after about 10 mins?
The unit is well ventilated and I have tried several DVDs and they all do the same.
I have turned off the Progressive scan function.

Please reply if you have any ideas what the problem might be.

So if I Record onto DVD-R with this machine, will I be able to play that DVD-R in any other DVD player that plays DVD-Rs?

Although its says in the manual the Recordable format is DVD+R only,
a few forums are saying that it records onto DVD-R .
is this true ?

Bought some DVD+Rs today and all is now working fine.
Its actually quite a good Machine for a Great price.

Thanks for your answer I thought the player was faulty.
Can you answer me some more questions please?

If I buy DVD+R with a x8 speed will that record ok?
And Will it still play a recorded DVD-R ?
And do I need a hack to make the player a Multi Region?
And lastly what difference does the speed of a disc make?

Sorry theres so many questions but I`m very new to DVD Technology!!

MICO Espejo R311 DVDR

Why won`t my Bulkpaq 8x DVD-R work in my new Mico 311 DVDR?
I have just purchased 50 of them from ebay and none work!!
Has anyone else had this problem?
