Why won`t my Bulkpaq 8x DVD-R work in my new Mico 311 DVDR?
I have just purchased 50 of them from ebay and none work!!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Please help.
Woody
The model is about 2 years old & really big clue is the fact the device is a +R(W) device, it won`t record to any -R(W) media.

Oh dear !!
Thanks for your answer I thought the player was faulty.
Can you answer me some more questions please?
If I buy DVD+R with a x8 speed will that record ok?
And Will it still play a recorded DVD-R ?
And do I need a hack to make the player a Multi Region?
And lastly what difference does the speed of a disc make?
Sorry theres so many questions but I`m very new to DVD Technology!!
Thank you for your valuable help.

OK here we go 1 by 1.
If I buy DVD+R with a x8 speed will that record ok? & lastly what difference does the speed of a disc make?
The unit has been known to fussy over what brand of disc`s the FAQ`s have the commonly used brands it likes (Verbatim, Memorex, PC Line etc).
Speed shouldn`t matter too much as far as your purposes are concerned, the speeds are really quoted in terms of writing to a disc while its in a computer.
And Will it still play a recorded DVD-R ?
It should play it just fine, however different writers\recorders with different media may produce one that won`t play on yours from time to time.
And do I need a hack to make the player a Multi Region?
Nope its MR out of the box, in the unlikely event of you needing to set it to a specific region to play back a RCE DVD, the hack is available on the FAQ.
