hi im having printing problems all drivers ok ink ok it prints photos from picasa ok but not any text from word or note pad,it did work until recently i have reinstalled checked everything but still cannot print text documents or letters,please help,peter.

my son and his wife were burglered a couple of weeks ago while they were out shopping the culprit new to well my daughter in law is 5 months pregnant this did not stop him stealing objects that cannot be replaced,to see my daughter in law sobbing after she was the first to return home to find what this low life had done to their home,spending years of work to buy their home and furnish it,these scum deserve everything they get including being attacked,but of course the law will always protect the criminal and will not increase or bring back corporal punishment,such as the stocks in the town square and name and shame these low lifes and let the public see what sought of "people" these are.

hi,thanks for your reply,the desktop i use is connected by ethernet cable to a netgear wieless router ( i also have a laptop with wifi thats ok ) normally it shows on the desktop in network and sharing centre my pc-----netgear-------internet globe symbol then below it says normally netgear (public network) then the usual info signal strength etc hope this info might help,as i said my desktop is connected to the internet and been downloading the usual updates for my security programmes as normal,hope this helps or i might have to get local engineer to check it out,thanks peter.

hi,i must have erased something in my clearout of pc the task bar duo screens now show a red cross which normally means no connection,but my broadband is connected ok,i have no connection symbols on the network window,which show a pc and globe to indicate you are connected any ideas please,peter

Life is Cheap worth 9 to 12 years

After just hearing on bbc news some low lifes just got 9 to 12 years for kicking a youth to death is justice a joke in this country,i hope our Mps and judges sleep with a clear conscience,maybe if it were afriend of theirs they would think differently,or maybe not ??????

hi,just bought a new 2009 kaspersky internet security suite for my laptop as this 2009 is on my base station and works great,i keep on getting at start up on kas installation remove avg 8 which i thought i had earlier,i right clicked on compter and it shows it is still there ihave tried to delete and it wont,so i cant proceed with new install of kaspersky,any ideas would be much appreciated,if you can keep it your replys easy to understand it would help please,thanks peter.

hi everyone who has posted about windsor i finally recieved a reply they are investigating my complaint i.e no pension fore cast or how much i will recieve, i have a direct phone tel this belongs to sally hudson lund her dept investigate complaints lol tel.01952 525001 this will take you to her dept,update still no details of my pension since i asked for info in jan 2008 the ombudsman office passed my info to the pensions advisory office who are looking into my problem with windsor life,hope this tel number helps,good luck ,peter.

hi everyone,be warned about this company,trying to get my pension cashed since the 10 jan 2008,did their complaints procedure they are going to investigate,they tell me this could take between 4 to 8 weeks what does it take to obtain a pension pay out,maybe they are doing a northern rock????????? who knows,beware folks.

hi you have to phone virgin for your free rourt this i did not know until three mnths later i phoned virgin and recieved my free router in two days its a netgear dg834g but had to buy a dongle for my usb as my pc is not wifi enabled hope this helps, peter.

hi,im with virginmedia but we have no cable where i live,but still got a good deal after many years with aol,time for a change,started at£17.99 package up to 8 meg speed,then joined bundle one for £2 extra we get anytime talk local and national phone calls inc upto an hour then hangup and redial,no more tesco talk bills which were up to £25 per quarter,anyway i thouht this was a good price ,also you get free pc guard inc firewall virus scan and spyware all from virgin and updates automatically,hope this helps you decide it does pay to shop around,regards peter.
