No - only that it`s been availble Region 2/4 for months from them at that price. Use http://www.cd-wow.com/192 and you should get another 25p off!

Where have u been? I got this in august. Fantastic set at a fantastic price

I don`t understand, the Region 2 news page here today states it is released on 2 December, and Play247 say the same thing, and have it then for £25.99....

Maybe they`ve called it Region 2 to try and flog a few more copies to those unaware that Region 4 PAL plays the same as Region 2 PAL. Especially as R2 get`s released soon.

Hiya, just wanted to ask a (stupid) question... are ALL R4 PAL discs compatible with R2 players? or just some of them?

Just some of them.
They`re all PAL though which means they`ll play on all British teles (although it`s generally older teles here that won`t play NTSC DVD`s)
Some (quite a few it seems lately) are dual 2/4 region.
Otherwise if it is just R4 then you`ll need multi-region to play it.
Confusing also though is that some covers are wrong and they may only state R4 but are infact R2/4.......

Thanks for the info... so is there a way of finding out which ones play R2 as well as R4 ?

Be careful here - am I not right in saying that the R2 (newly released) has extra commentaries (like R1), and that the R4 (which is dual R2) has fewer?
As far as checking which R4 releases are also R2, try some of the region comparison sites such as:

i just bought it from cd-wow

its r4/r2 ok but packeaged really cheaply

all 3 dvds are on the same spindle -asking for trouble

DONT buy it - not worth it in the long run because of the aggro
