Are they still customs friendly? Haven`t used them for a while.

Lot of people don`t like em but I think they are great !

Have been customs friendly so far with my orders and nearly always over the £18 level.

Bob Hope must be one of the few movie stars that lived to see his 100th Anniversay Collection ha ha !!

Anyone else having trouble with the currency converter on the DVDSoon site?

Currency converter not working for me either.

I`ve got LOTR TT 4 disc on preorder and the price is the same now as when I ordered.
Does anyone know if I can cancel it and reorder to benfit from the free postage?

Well, I just pre-ordered The Two Towers extended edition, and they let me have free shipping. Should juuuuust slip in under the £18 customs mark now!

Never had any trouble cancelling orders...but they do take a helluva time to deliver.

I`ve used DVD Soon before and they can take quite a time to deliver. However,
if you look at the excellent http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/ site, you`ll see that
DVD Soon are often the cheapest out there, even including the postage from
Canada.

I just pre-ordered LOTR Two Towers Platinum Edition (about 3 quid less than anyone else out there), Season 2 of Futurama and Season 3 of The Simpsons and still had change out of 60 quid thanks to the current free international postage offer. HMV want 40 quid *each* for the latter two sets !

Tips: Put your disc orders in separately, so that you don`t have to wait for all of them to come in stock before you get them shipped (yes, they actually want to charge you a fee if you want "partial shipping" - with this free shipping offer, just go through the checkout separately for each disc and there`s your partial shipping for free !).

Also, I use http://www.xe.net/ to currency convert from CA$ to GBP, but be careful to round up a bit cos of currency commission the credit card companies tend to sting you with.
