I have just ordered the Region 1 version from Futureent for £16.99 which has the DTS soundtrack on it unlike this version

no it doesnt, dont think any 2 disc release has a dts track (although i`d imagine it will appear on the 4 disc like FOTR)

Is this the R3 version in the tin????

Think it has the 6.1 EX soundtrack.

Mind you the LOTR:FOTR DTS soundtrack was nothing to write home about..

Just rang Futureent who confirmed it does not have have the DTS soundtrack despite their website saying so

Their only saving grace is that I ordered it today and they are shipping it today as well so hopefully so get it tomorrow

I got the R1 version off CD-Wow for £15.99

Was thinking about R2 but after hearing of the probelms with both the sound and the picture with the first film I decided to go for R1 again.

Haven`t watched it yet but it`s the same authoring firm again so I would expect the same quality.
