I just went to the website and tried ordering an item using the code. But it didn`t reduce the total amount I had to pay, instead it said that `if the code was deemed acceptable then the new total would be reflected in the delivery note` or something to that effect.

It also said that the code was to be used only once per customer and is non-transferrable. I phoned them up and told them that a relative had a code that I wanted to use and if this was ok? They said no. So I am not sure if this will work.

Where did you get the code from? I think I`ll play it safe and wait until someone actually receives the items and can see that the £25 has been taken off.

Well they had that exact offer not long ago for new customers only and some people didn`t get the discount and were charged full price. You can still return it but it`s not worth the hassle.

Jon, please post the full terms and conditions of the offer before quoting discount codes or state where you got it from, as there have been problems before (not here at Reviewer, I hasten to add) with Littlewoods over the advertisement of individualised codes.

Incidentally, checkout will show the full price, invoice/statement will include reduction. Note you have to undergo a credit status check too, as this is a catalogue and thus a revolving credit agreement :o
