Woolies Bargain

If you are more interested in the little shiny DVD disks than the (often naff) packaging, there might be a few bargains to be had in Woolworths - at least, if Belfast is anything to go by.

The Belfast store is selling (about 200) coverless disks for £4.99 each. You just get a cardboard sleeve with a big £4.99 label covering the opening.

Loads of good disks too. As a sample, I saw Alien, Aliens, Jaws, Entrapment, Jurassic Park, Star Treks, loads of Bonds etc.

Worth a look.

I think that`s only in the Belfast store, unless anyone else can confirm otherwise. Maybe they had loads of DVD packaging stolen or destroyed (weather, riots etc).

Sound like a good deal though.

I went there yesterday and unfortunately the stock was down to about a dozen, mostly "Jingle all the Way" and "Green Ice" :-(.

Thanks for the info. I was just a little too late.

Cheers
