Need to go into the shop as not on the web as at this AM.

Also the shops did not have them price reduced so you need to ask the staff

The catalogue number is 551/7206. In fact they have 20% of all digital cordless phones.

Also 20% off all digital cameras over £200.

Good spot cheers. We`ve been thinking of adding to our DECT phone for a while. Mrs rang the ring and reserve line to check stoclk and price, and it came up like you said. It`s reserved now, gonna pop down and get it later on. :)

Have you got a model number for this phone?

I see they are listed in the new catalogue as "our cheapest ever digital cordless twin pack only £34.75" so it is saving nearly £7 over the normal price (20%).

They are listed as the Binatone MD500.

Sorry haven`t been on for a couple of days. We got the phones, bur I ended up taking them back. We`ve had a Binatone DECT phone for a number of years, and I was expecting these to be as good. But they aren`t as shown in the sale leaflet. It says they have a 40 name and number memory, and speakerphone, so similar to the one we already have.

The ones you get, although having the right item number, and model number are not as shown in the leaflet, in which you can see the speakerphone button on the photo. These are a very basic phone, sort of a DECT version of the £9.99 corded phones you see. Only a 10 number memory (no names, so you have to remember who`s number is who, or use the sticker provided), no speakerphone, and not GAP compatible so you can`t add it to an existing system.

They`re ok for the price if you just want a basic phone with the security of DECT, but not what we were after, and not as described in the sales leaflet, so we took them back after much umming and ahhing as to what to do.

Just thought I`d let you know in case anyone was expecting them to be more functional than they are. :)

Mark.
