RE: Carphone Warehouse/ Orange phone. Anyone got their cheque yet?!??!

I phoned them the other week and they said you must send them your last bill (may have been all of the bills.. have to confirm) to receive the cheque.

RE: £25 off any £25 or over order @ tesco.com

Most banks deduct outstanding transactions straight away.. depends on the bank. Internet banking is the best way to check this.

RE: £25 off any £25 or over order @ tesco.com

You can do Tesco`s for credit card fraud :D

RE: Great mobile deal...better hurry!!

Shame. Usually is only available for a weekend. Watch out for it in a few months!

RE: Great mobile deal...better hurry!!

I got this line just before xmas and it`s great! 100 xnet mins every month with £36 extras pack free for 3 months (although there was no mention of this when I ordered). It was re-introduced last week at £149. I would catch it at £99 while it lasts!

RE: £50 Cash Back from Samsung

Yup.. bargain. I think I`ll be returning the Orange C100 :)

RE: £50 Cash Back from Samsung

Found this by total fluke:

Leaving Virgin Mobile

We won`t hold it against you if you`ve tried Virgin Mobile and aren`t happy. If you decide this within 28 days, just return your phone and we`ll give you a full refund.

If you`d rather keep your phone and have it `unlocked`, then we can do that too. `Unlocking` will be free of charge if you`ve spent at least £30 on airtime while you`ve been with us. If not, just top-up by enough to meet this £30 mark. This is to help us recover some of our costs and keep our phones priced as competitively as possible.

RE: £50 Cash Back from Samsung

I bought a C100 on Orange from The Link (£69.99 after price promise). Refused to buy from Orange Retail because they force you to register the SIM before leaving the store.. phone isn`t for myself! Looking at the Virgin website, would have probably got a better deal.. £79.99 for C100 + joining pack (£5 of airtime + handsfree) + £10 airtime voucher. I believe Virgin provide unlock codes for free.. do they still do this?

RE: Too bloody good to miss - Sky+ for a Ton!!!!

I believe it works using the EPG listings and not specific timings, so yes it should take delays into account. Someone else confirm this?

RE: Nokia N-Gage, £129 on PAYG Orange + Free text saver & sonic game (worth £55!)

Received my N-Gage today. Took a while to come.. as always when you order from Orange web. No Sonic game though. Orange CS said they will send it when they have them in. Do I believe them? Of course not!

RE: Nokia 3310 and 120 mins anytime cross network for £19.99 no line rental for 12 months

The Everyone 1000 £680 cashback offer looks tempting :)

RE: Nokia 3310 and 120 mins anytime cross network for £19.99 no line rental for 12 months

Nice offer. Carphone Warehouse did a similar offer last month.. Free Nokia 3510i on Orange 120 + £225 cashback.

RE: Nokia N-Gage, £129 on PAYG Orange + Free text saver & sonic game (worth £55!)

£122 is an excellent price considering Orange was the next cheapest but is no longer available. Has anyone ordered from DirectPrePayPhones or DirectMobilePhones before?

RE: Nokia N-Gage, £129 on PAYG Orange + Free text saver & sonic game (worth £55!)

Update from Orange: N-Gage is now in stock. Will be dispatched today or tomorrow.

RE: Nokia N-Gage, £129 on PAYG Orange + Free text saver & sonic game (worth £55!)

Same here.. got the text saver pack. I called Orange to enquire and they said N-Gage was out of stock.. expected by the end of the week. I received my 7250i yesterday after aaaagggeeeesssss.

RE: Cheap International Calls (PAYG, No PrePay, use at work, home or mobile!)

Telediscount does seem a lot cheaper than Just Dial. Anyone used it?

RE: Cheap International Calls (PAYG, No PrePay, use at work, home or mobile!)

This thread has turned into affiliate`s paradise :)

RE: Cheap International Calls (PAYG, No PrePay, use at work, home or mobile!)

Also topup2talk. Buy topups by sending a text or phoning a number and topup is charged to your phone bill. Info here

RE: Cheap International Calls (PAYG, No PrePay, use at work, home or mobile!)

Definatly works as posted. Here is a list of my access numbers: :)

0870 794 9166 National rate (main number.. lots of destinations)
0844 570 9166 5p weekend and evenings
0871 570 8500 10p (offers more destinations)
0905 257 9005 Call UK mobiles and more for 20p (I use this one most)

There are too many destinations to list.. simply call the number to hear a list. Calls rates per min on BT.

RE: Nokia N-Gage, £129 on PAYG Orange + Free text saver & sonic game (worth £55!)

Thanks for that! The Text Saver pack is advertised when you purchase the phone but the N-Gage game isn`t. Wonder if they`ll use the last line to get out of this one

Orange reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel these terms and conditions or to withdraw the Free Sonic N Offer at any time upon reasonable notice.

:o

RE: Nokia N-Gage, £129 on PAYG Orange + Free text saver & sonic game (worth £55!)

I order it at £129 few days ago but it didn`t mention Sonic. N-Gage doesn`t seem to be on the site any more.

RE: Nokia 7250i £129.99

Orange didn`t honour my order for 7250i. Placed an order for an N-Gage.. lets see if they honour it.

RE: Nokia 6600 on orange contract

Not bad! How much is your monthly spend? I`m waiting for the 6600 on T-Mobile.

RE: PC World Various Bits

None of my local stores seem to have the kit in stock!

RE: PC World Various Bits

Saw an ad for PC World in todays Daily Mirror which had the Belkin kit. The contents were listed. Check it out here.

RE: Surfing the net via laptop and mobile phone

I signed up to a free trial account with claranet and use the 020 7 access number which I can use with my T-Mobile free minutes. Can`t seem to find the 020 7 number on their site but I will post if you take up this option. Must warn you that access is reaaaaalllllyyyyy slow using a mobile.. 9.6kbps to be precise :o

Another option is purchasing a GPRS card for your laptop. Access would be slightly faster but cost may be more expensive depending on GPRS cost on your tariff and amount of usage.

RE: PC World Various Bits

Wow.. how did you manage that! My local PC World was out of the Belkin kit. Will enquire at a few other store.
