Ordered a couple of things, let`s hope they arrive :)

Are DVD Soon any good - there seems to have been a lot of bad stuff said about them here. How long do they normally take to deliver?

On average 6 days from posting to receipt when I have used them - Thats not bad at all for a Canadian based Co IMO. :)

I`ve used DVDSoon for about 6 or 7 purchases now, and never had any problems. Their prices are superb.

With the free postage offer back at DVD Soon, simply just order each DVD separately and make sure each DVD order doesn`t exceed 43 Canadian
dollars (DVD Soon put the exact price in CAN$ on the package now, rather than their previous "trick" of claiming everything was 12 CAN$). 43 CAN$ is just under 18 quid (which is the maximum you can import without being charged import duty or VAT).

BTW, I wonder if DVD Soon`s non-Canadian sales dried up hugely when they started charging international postage and they`ve realised that they can only beat the rest with free postage, hence its most welcome return?

Oh dear, wish I`d seen your post Richard before placing my order!

I`ve ordered 5 DVD`s from them 3 of which are in stock and 2 of which are on order. The total order is $72.90 but the 3 that are in stock which they are sending total $41.94. Does this mean that I will still pay duty ? or do they put the total order value on each box?

Am I also correct in saying that the exchange rate is $2.60 to the pound? if so these prices are damn good.
