Page 1 of Brother (DTS) International Version - £3.99 at CD-Wow

It`s a Japanese Yakuza film; I`ve never seen it, but it`s supposed to be good (got a 4.5/5 on KFCCinema.com). Apparently it`s directed by Takeshi Kitano who made both Battle Royale and Zaitochi. Might be of interest to some...? It`s cheap, so what the hell!

Actually, has anyone seen it?

Ordered this from dddhouse for about the same price. Not seen it but at that price its worth a go.

Takeshi Kitano only stared in Battle Royale it was directed by Kinji Fukasaku.

I have seen this but didn`t think too much to it. Don`t know if it was the International version I saw (if there`s a difference?). It`s ok for £3.99.

It`s an excellent film, but both the UK and JAP R2`s have much better picture quality, see here. The R2`s are also anamorphic. The UK R2 is only £5.99 at Play, out of stock though.

IIRC, the R3`s English subtitles stay on during the English dialogue. :(

Watch out folks, it`s the fullscreen version that is being sold and they don`t seem to have widescreen available from CD Wow.

Think its a mistake on the details. The one I ordered from dddhouse has the same cover and is listed as widescreen and the comparison of the three versions (link in one of the other posts) lists all of them as widescreen. Its not anamorphic though.
