Verbatim - great at CD-R`s :) - Crap at DVD`s :( I had 2 in a test tub of about 8 different makes and both failed!

I think I heard about some disc`s were made in Taiwan and others in Singapore or Japan. Ones made in one country were crap but the others was OK. I cant remember which?

I always buy Ritek now and at about £10 for 25 are very cheap and never fail

I found these instore, there may well be a link (but I dont have it), bought some last year at Trago Mills (shuts down mental audio image of the appalling jingles on local radio) & never had a coaster out of the 10 or so I bought.

The only problems I have with buying spindles is the unknown coaster %/pack & the cost of p&p which seems to bump the price up to comparable with Office World (30 secs from my back door) or Staples (5 mins from my front door), thus I tend to stick to brands I know work without issue & buy in bulk when they do a special offer.

You should look for Ritek discs m8 or Ridisc or Ridata as these are considered to be the the best DVD-R around today they have GO3 or GO4 dye which again is the most compatable with standalone dvd players you can get 25 for £5.99 from
www.Blankdiscshop.co.uk
