Here is a full list of dvds at Comet, 3 for £25, which is a great deal. lt runs until 31/05/01. And some of my views forced on you!

BLADE - l didnt like this much
U-571 - Good WW2 sub movie
AMERICAN PSYCHO - Haven`t seen
FREQUENCY - Heard its average
AUSTIN POWERS 2 - Speaks for itself
WILD THINGS - A bit over rated
CROW - Good, but l wouldnt buy it
AMERICAN HISTORY X - Very good hard edge drama. Edward Norton shows he will become a great actor
SE7EN - (2 dick set??) One of the best thrillers EVER made. A real must-buy.
Final Destination - A great spooky film, original, and good worth seeing

I`m pretty impressed with the Se7en 2-dick set - what`s that all about then, Unbreakable ? LOL!!!

They are decent titles but you always find two good ones and the rest crap. Three good titles are rarely together. my local didnt have seven or american history x even though that was what i went to buy.

Why are there no DVD films at all on the Comet website? Perhaps they are doing away with them hence the offer? Maybe not.
Thought I`d bypass getting off my arse and shop online. Poor bugger me

Richard - sounds like you got the same flyer thru the door that I got, stuffed in with a freebie local newspaper.

I quote - "Can`t make it to a store? You can order any of the products featured in this flyer by calling 0845 600 7002 or online at http://www.comet.co.uk" - and on page 10 of the same flyer is the 3 for £25 offer listing American Psycho, Final Destination, Blade, Austin Powers 2, Wild Things, The Crow, Se7en, American History X, Frequency or U571.

Took trip to my local Comet (North Hampshire) and nothing at all in the way of promotions in the store. Usual small(about 40) selection of discs that get sold to people who`ve just bought a new player but no sign of any special deals.

Just spoken to Comet and all stores definitely still have this offer, with the DVDs listed by Unbreakable. From a thread on another forum (sorry), it seems that some stores may be including other titles as well... I think Donnie Brasco was one example.

If there`s no indication in-store, just grab the ones you want from their list and suggest they call their head office for clarification :)

I think it`s also detailed in one of their flyers... not sure which one, though.

0845 600 7002 and you can order them over the phone or reserve copies at a local store. P&P is about £3 or so.

This offer is very much still on, but very low key advertising for some reason. l got a four page booklet with the dvds on sale, but in my Comet there was no advertising anywhere!
