Page 1 of VCR and DVD recorder £200+VAT

Makro have advertised a VCR DVD recorder combi for £200+VAT (£35)

It seems a great deal as most others start in the region of £300.

The only problem is that it`s a Pye, and I cannot find any info on them.

Sorry, I haven`t got the model number. I just saw it on the back of the mother-in-law`s catalogue the other day!

They`re also doing a Pye VCR DVD player for £70+VAT.

Thats a name I havent heard in a long time.

A quick google of `pye electronics ` brings up someones CV/job reference letter !!!!

i`d imagine someones bought the the name to use with re-branded stuff, as rasilion says, pye is an old brand name, i`ve not seen anything from them since the early ninetys (sp) tho i could be wrong.

this sounds like the one they were selling on qvc last weekend as a todays special value
they had it for around £295 + p and p for 24 hours,but after that upto about £345 + p and p,but they did say that was the uk exclusive launch of that product so perhaps it isnt unless they got em out in the shops pretty quick

Can`t find any multi region info..

The model QVC was selling was the Daewoo DF 8150. My dad bought one to transfer all his War/military history VHS onto DVD, save on space.
I don`t know if its Multi region though.

Its not multi region, looking for hack to make it so!
