Boots have just resurrected their triple points bonanza again - this time until Sunday 14/11/2004.

What`s more, they are also (as of the time of this post) in stock of iPod minis in 2 colours and the new slimline Playstation 2:

You have a choice of a 10% idscount code (HFDM48 ) or a 2000 free Advantage Card points code (TTXG98 ) for spending over £100 (but not both).

If you collect Advantage card points, the 2000 points are worth more with all of the above products.

Using the 2000 extra points code and availing yourself of triple points on all purchases, purchasing an iPod will get you a total of 4148 points, worth £41.48, reducing the effective price to £138.51.

Using the 2000 extra points code and availing yourself of triple points on all purchases, purchasing a Slimline PS2 will get you 3260 Advantage Card points, worth £32.60, reducing the effective price to £72.39

Something tells me that stock of these items will be very short lived!

As someone`s just noticed an extra 10% discount automatically awarded at the checkout stage (probably due to a website error) I thought I`d update you on the prices and points available for a few of the more interesting bargains to be had on Boots` website:

Have they changed the system?

I thought it was one point per penny? Surely that would make 2000 points worth £20?

Good spots by the way, shame I don`t need any of the stuff :)

The additional benefit was relative to using the 10% discount code (as you can`t use both). i.e. the 2000 points are still worth £20 but the 10% discount code was worth just under £10 so the increase in benefit is approx £10.

Anyway...I`ve just found out that you can use the 2000 points offer without an additional purchase as its validity is measured against the basket price BEFORE discount (£104.99) which is above the £100 minimum spend threashold for this offer to be valid. Bargain! ...that`s a PS2 or XBox for an effective price of £61.89.

You can get double discount at the moment if you enter the 10% code as well as triple points!!!

Works on all items i have tried, clarins, clinique etc...

Absolutely correct Diverse - my response to this post demonstrates that with the use of 10% AND 2000 points AND triple points.

I wonder if this was intentional and, if not, when they will notice and close the loophole?
