CLOSED :Panasonic DMRE55 DVD recorders : get them cheap in boots
Okay - this is dependent on you having a Boots Advantage points card.
If you put your card in the machine instore you should get a coupon for extra points when you buy anything from the "fragrance free" or "cucumber" skincare range. People have reported getting 100 points, 125 points and 150 points.
Buy the products then use the points to buy the DVD recorder.

150 points is worth £1.50. How on earth much would you need to spend on skincare to get a DVD recorder?
Maybe a good offer for alligators?
RE: Panasonic DMRE55 DVD recorders : get them cheap in boots
How much?...well, in an ideal world....£80.60.

Presume on this thread you could get a voucher for any spend. ie 150 worth even if spend a few pence (as it were). So what is the cheapest item on the counter?
RE: Panasonic DMRE55 DVD recorders : get them cheap in boots
The cheapest thing in this range I`ve seen, or heard of is a cleansing bar at 60p. (Larger stores only). Otherwise you are looking at 93p stuff.

Excellent spot! A mixture of 60p and 93p items leads to a Panny DVD for £120. Not quite the £80 but good all the same...Thanks.

Talking of cleansing bars, mentioned above(as you do)...........
Have you ever noticed how bath products always say on the back things like "gently cleanse",or "a sooth & cleanse" etc.
What`s wrong with the word "clean" !?
They always have to knob it up to cleanse!!!
Damn, got to end this post early,I have just knocked my cup of tea over, and now I must get a mop and cleanse it all up (;)

Cheers - it paid to look past the "buying lots of unwanted moisturiser" aspect and think of the savings to be had.
About the same for me actually (£80 was best case scenario) - the 93p stuff bought made the average price higher but still making money on it. I found quite a few soaps but only half as much as would be required.
It`s all pretty much over now but on Sunday the machine was giving out coupons for 100, 125 and 150 points. Someone on MSE hit on the idea of trying to use all three ! ...and it worked - he was spending 60p, 93p, £1.01 or whatever and getting £3.75 in points for every item! You`d have had to find less soaps and you would`ve got a Panny for just £32! I missed out on that one though.
This isn`t the first time Boots have paid people to take stuff away and hopefully it won`t be the last - keep your eyes peeled.
I just wish they sold DVD-RAM discs so I could get a few on points. Bought some RoboSapiens on 3 for 2 (£59.99 each).
