RE: Nestle white chocolate berry bars

This must have been a huge flop for Nestle, who have been trying to offload these things all over the place for months now. Nobody seems to like them (except at rock bottom prices like this). Tesco were selling them in January at 10p for 2 125g bars!

Serves Nestle right. All the decent British chocolate firms they`ve taken over (Rowntree, Mackintosh etc) - the stuff they now sell under the same brand names (KitKat for example) isn`t a patch on what it used to be. They also make ice cream for the UK market which couldn`t legally be sold as ice cream across most of Europe. Then there are their third world baby milk sales. Happily, their reputation hasn`t survived untarnished (like MacDonalds) and their policies are now hitting them where it hurts.

I have a friend, who has an aunt, who has a dog which knows another dog whose owner has a very substantial shareholding in Matsus***a (sorry if this word has been edited out)Electrical. My friend says he`s learned via his friend, the dogs and the various owners that none of them would touch a Philips DVD recorder at any price.

As with all of these cashback deals, they`re only any good if the retailer is still around at payout time. This one may be fine (though it doesn`t include a new phone, which most of them do) but you are at risk until you get the cheque. I have successfully used cashback without any problem at all, but will only use two websites - carphonewarehouse.com and e2save.com. Both are part of CPW, which is a good solid company with a pretty good reputation for looking after its customers - and it`s most unlikely to go bust.

Take a look at Reestit Mutton`s bargain pages on the link below, and you`ll find a CPW bargain right now. SE T630 on T-Mobile for a net £4.99 a month for 12 months. Sell the phone for more than £60 (not difficult) and you`re actually in profit on the deal. It`s an off-peak deal, though, so it may not suit. There will be better ones coming up, though. Just watch and wait. Good luck.

Such a pity though that Dyson users need to use the after sales service so frequently. I speak from bitter experience, and `Which` does not speak well of Dyson either.

Yes, I got the same story from them. More likely they just wanted to boost the traffic to their site. Sort of backfires though when you manage to alienate a whole bunch of people.

Don`t see this old model as worth even £300, though, when you can get the much better 80gb Panasonic DMR-E85HEBS for £375 including delivery. And if you can wait a few months the equivalent model will be half that.
