Page 1 of i am looking for a portable dvd player 7" screen ? anyone Help!!

can someone let me know if thare are any 7"portable dvd players (that can be multiregion) for around the £100 mark . as there was very briefly in staples a few weeks back. but the mofos acted dumb when i went in there, "no mate you must be joking you and a billion other people have rang in with the same request". "sold out as soon as they come in". in other words we had a few and the staff purchased them and sold them on the likes of ebay.any feedback would be appreciated. thanks nightwatchman

I spotted a cracker whilst visiting `Toys am We` the other day. It`s also on their website. 7" Medion player c/w car kit holder and all adaptors etc. looked and sounded good. all for only £149.

If I didnt already have a 5" player/screen I would have bought this. Did I hear somebody tell me that Medion and linked in some way to Panasonic? Hope this helps.

Don`t think you`ll find a 7" machine for that price just yet - give it a couple of months though and I`m sure they`ll all be that price!

I bought my 7" Mustek PL207 in May of this year for £195 and already you can get a 9" machine for the same price....ho hum, that`s technology for you!!

Bought one this morning.
100 yard queue before opening time, scrums and arguements at the checkouts, I left before any blood was spilt.

Seems a reasonable little unit. It`s a Tevion DVP 7011. It`s not multi region but the hacks on the region hack forum if you search for the make and model number and works perfectly.

As mentioned in earlier posts, I don`t think you`ll get a 7" for £100, not even in the New Year Sales, but you could hang on to see if Toys R Us do reduce it after Xmas. They seem to have plenty of stock, unlike the scrum for the Aldi Tevions (similar spce to Medion but £10 cheaper).
