My local MVC and 2nd Local MVC have got a massive sale on where they are getting rid of unboxed (in clear jewel case) CD`s, dvds, PS2 games.

Just give you an idea I brought:

BUGS Series Two - 3 dvd- 99p (for set)
Very Best Meat Loaf- 2cd 99p (for set)
Twin Peaks Series 1- 4 Dvd 99p (for set)
Robbie Williams Show- 1 Dvd 99p
Summoner- PS2 game - 99p
Top of Pops Summer 2001 dvd 99p
Best Air Guitar iii - 2cd 99P (set)
Mortification - Conquers The World dvd (has cover) 99p
Mystic Festival dvd 99p


IF you going down take some empty cd cases with you. The twin peaks dvd they put in one double jewel case and the Bugs series they put in dvd case with one of the dvds floating around in the case.

Oops! Dinner by armed robbery.

Went to my MVC (Camberley) yesterday....looks like it has been shut down for weeks - it was a big store too.

I thought it might be nationwide as all MVC`s are in the same boat, my local`s are Hastings and Eastbourne.

Camberley went last weekend :( - was a great shop too, no last minute closing sale tho so you didn`t miss anything

but think more to do with the planned (when?) new development in same way all other shops in that row are gone.

Thanks - was thinking I might have missed out there!

Some cool guys worked in that shop.......they gave me 2 of those MVC Star Wars box set outers for nothing and a Shaun of the Dead promo thing too.

As for that parade, the restaurant on the corner opposite Pizza Express must be annoyed at spending all that dough on refurb to be stuck in the middle of a derelict street!

My mate in the Southport branch tells me that a takeover of the MVC chain by Music Zone is imminent.

Music Zone didn`t buy the company, MVC is remaining the same, and the Sale is just disc`s that have the box`s lost, insted of sitting in the back office, they were sold off for 99p: not all stores are doing this

closed down in cardiff as they are knocking down the area no sale to speak of just dissapeared
