Don`t know what happened there - I`ve amended the title. For those wondering the title was cut off and read: Cheap Bush 28

Our old telly was on the blink and so went to Sainsburys and bought this one at such a great price but...

How long does it take to get used to `widescreen`??? :/

I know being on TV supposed to add lbs to a person but this morning Natasha Kaplinski needs to go to the gym!

Jill

P.S. Anyone want to buy a telly?? (The old one, I put it on ebay! And yes, I have said it needs repair!)

socks

Check that you have done the following......

1. Make sure you are viewing the digital signal of the built-in freeview (most things will be broadcast in widescreen and distortion free - including Natasha Kaplinski :) )

2. Check that the tv is set to `automatic` picture format (or equivalent)

3. If you have skydigital, make sure thats set to `16:9` in the services/picture menu/format

Picked one of these up a few days ago and initial impressions are good :) , it replaced an old hitachi 24" widescreen that was on the blink. the picture is good, about what you would expect for the £200ish sort of mark, nothung special by any means but a good buy,
it has 2 scart sockets (1 RGB), 1 SVHS (on the rear left hand side of the unit) along with AV inputs.
havent tried the freeview yet as i am awaiting a new aerial installation.
all in all very good buy for the money.
thanks to the op.

Well thankyou Mr Pineapples!

Everyone has been on a crash diet! It was the Sky control that was the problem.

Thanks again,
Jill
