Bargain Buckets Forum
Pick up a BT BROADBAND CD at main Post Offices. The offer is £25 back in saving stamps and 3 months reduced rate at £14.99 then £17.99. This for 2MB speed.
At fast4 they are offering 2M broadband for £9.95 . . . as far as I can see this is not a limited offer although : there is a 3 month minimum contract, this not an unlimited download package (thats more expensive) but I can`t see what the limit is.
here
Might be useful for anyone who just wants to surf
Check you don`t have to pay for connection or transfer charges, modems etc.? I think Tiscalli are doing ti for £14.99 with free connection/modems etc.

What does that mean?
"Fast4 operates on an unlimited Internet access basis with a 2 hour cut-off period. We also operate a 15:1 system contention ratio."
They do an unlimited dialup as well as broadband (£6.99)
Just had another look at the broadband service, download limit is 2Gb, the price includes £2 off if you subscribe to their telephone service (otherwise £11.98 ) and there is a £47 connection fee to get BT to install the line

TISCALI WARNING - VERY VERY BAD SERVICE
take a look at the forums over at www.asdlguide.org.uk and see what people think.
Personally I use Eclipse.

Two big thumbs-up for Eclipse!!! May not be the cheapest, but they are no cowboy outfit. First class service and customer support. Real people that answer the `phone within a few rings. I have the 2M uncapped.
For those who can cope with a semi-capped service (AUP) I have put several friends and family onto Plusnet and am very pleased.
