Dont know if this is the right forum but anyone who enjoys Magners cider should give the one they sell in Aldi a try its £1.29 for 568ml bottle and called Churchwards 4.5% proof ;)

Tried a bottle last night, pretty poor.

I`d stick to the Kosher stuff myself.

Harvey`s Bristol Cream was on a good deal tho !

There`s a difference between percentage and proof.

Isn`t proof half of percentage ?

I remember as a nipper my dad buying some rum that was 151% proof. I also remember running round the room holding my throat after trying a sip.

No ChildLine / Social Services in those days....
