RE: Ebay and its second chances!!

At worst you`ll get a non-paying bidder strike. Three and you`re suspended I think. Sellers can no longer leave negatives. If you mutually withdraw, seller will get his fees back.

RE: One for marksparks or julianf - help please

So, the boy broke the law by holding a phone while driving. You`re trying to get him off on a technicality. I wonder what lesson he`ll learn from all of this.

RE: any info about grants for pregnant women?

Give her a break, it`s probably the hormones. (Don`t tell my wife I said that)

RE: Infolithium batteries

Most batteries on ebay are fake and are lower powered than advertised. Be careful if you want to avoid fires at home.

RE: Lesson 14: Parking the car

Perhaps all the parent and child spaces were gone and someone needed room to remove their baby from its car seat.

RE: POLL: Are the McCanns getting to much attention?

And I`m sure when you were younger your parents never left you alone for a second.

RE: Big favour - DVD+/-R of Manchester United vs Roma

I didn`t realise we were allowed to request dvds of copyrighted material on here. Especially from police officers.

RE: My first Ebay problem, help please!

Check out the ebay forums. IF he can`t get it to work he has to send it back to you for testing. Don`t refund him till you`ve received it back.

RE: I`ve been picked for jury service!

Get a soul and conscience letter from your GP

RE: Can anyone recommend a good suitcase make?

Antler. Very hard wearing but not cheap. And remember if you`re going to the US to get the approved locks, in case they burst the built in ones.

RE: We are the mods...

Don`t go. It sounds dreadful.

RE: stupidness .......greeeeeeeedy..........or both

A fool and his money are easily parted.

RE: Cider at Aldi

There`s a difference between percentage and proof.

RE: Is she my girlfriend?

If you continue to talk about her on the internet to people you`ve never met, she won`t be your girlfriend for much longer!

RE: E bay Muppet - Your opinion please

I suggest you have a look in the ebay community q&a forum

RE: Need help with a dead pool.

Last I heard Magic Johnson was cured. Go figure.

RE: Can`t Be Arsed

Lots of times I catch myself thinking "This will just end up in a lot of hassle for me", usually trying to correct the misconceptions of the ill-advised.

RE: Ebay Problems - yes, again!

Try the ebay community, question and answers board. The people there are very helpful.

RE: Buying in USA and bringing into UK

My goodness, a copper breaking the law, who`d have thought :-)

RE: Buying in USA and bringing into UK

Just take the tags off, throw the box and manuals away, and pretend you didn`t buy it in America. Chances of being stopped and searched through customs are low. Or you could post it to yourself. Unless it`s really big.

RE: Having a Wedding List... Should we or shouldn`t we? Help please!

Have a list, but it`s good manners to let people know only if they ask, and don`t be offended if people still buy things not from the list.

RE: Car Tyre Puncture Repair

If it`s a run-flat it can`t be repaired.

RE: anyone else removing skulls from cheese around here at 2am?

Is it not about time we got an IRC channel for exactly this s*** at ridiculous times of the day and night?

RE: Second SKY box/subscription question

yeah, I thought I`d do that and just disconnnect my second box after installation, but two months later got a letter from Sky saying I had to keep both boxes connected at all times or pay full price for my second subscription

RE: Blimey - I`ve posted over 6000 times at DVD Reviewer !!!

I wonder how many of them are posts telling people how many messages you`ve posted.
:-)

RE: BBFC Cut The Rules Of Attraction for DVD/Video by 94 seconds!!!!!!

It`s so you cut the radial artery and not the veins, die much quicker.

RE: Matsui DVD225 or the Cyberhome 400?

I`m used to cheap players as I just upgraded to the Matsui from an Alba 104.
The Matsui has much better pciture quality and plays DVD+R flawlessly, which was a problem with the Alba. Error correction is also much better. Control is OK if a little bulky.
It has Scart, S-Video and coax digital out.

It`s small and it`s only 70 quid.

What more do you need?
