Boo hoo.

Snapped this up at £38 from EZYDVD, but alas; this morning I had to pay another £9.60 at the Post Office before I could get my hands on it.

I had asked EZY to put "gift" on the packaging, but instead they stuck on a great big insurance invoice giving the value as AUS$90, which was a bit of a giveaway.

Still a good £20 cheaper than the shops, but what a nuisance.

I know this is probably stating the obvious, but did you know about the recent sale at woolworths - Alien Legacy boxset could be picked up for £29.99

Is this always the case with EZYDVD? Does anyone else have any experience of this sort of thing happening? Was thinking of ordering a few titles from them, but won`t now if this is what is going to happen.

Just bad luck, I think. Apparently any purchase worth more than £18 should incur VAT at Customs, but only a few ever get picked up. Mine was one.

I did know about the sale at Woolies, but I missed all the copies of Alien Legacy in my area.

this is weird cos i recieved my Alien Legacy Box Set a couple of weeks ago and i didn`t have to pay any tax.

Ordered it from EZYDVD again for a friend for Christmas - it now sits in a local Post Office with £9 tax to pay. I`ve been stung twice!

And to add insult to injury, it`s now going for £30 all over the place.

you can get the alien legacy for 29.99 at mvc online at the moment i recieved mine within 2 days and only £1 postage bargin

Ive just been to mvc and its sixty odd bloody quid. Why do i always miss the bargains. Drat and double drat.

streetsonline sent me one of these accidentally 2 days ago! it`s currently lying on the floor waiting to be return so i can get my £30 back. if someone who missed the mvc/woolworths deals wants it i`m open to offers. I have to return it within 30 days...
