With this months Total DVD mag you get Carnival of Souls on DVD FREE. This is the original classic not the crap re-make. The cost of the mag is £3.99.

Is it any good though?

What, the magazine or the film ?

For £4 who cares ! I used to buy Total DVD but stopped when the price went up, so it was nice to buy a copy for old times sake.

Haven`t watched the movie yet : was revelling in receiving my £15 Spike Lee boxset from Devoted this morning : man, forgot what a good flick "Clockers" was.

Well that`s the weird thing, Sports Mimic.

I went for the Tough Bag at $5.10 with paper sleeves for each DVD (10 cents apiece) and got an e-mail saying they were going to have to change it to a parcel at $13 (when I ordered it, they didn`t know what sort of format it would be).

However, they don`t seem to have charged me the extra. The packaging is sort of like half of the X-Files Season 1 Box set : folds out into three with an info booklet, and a cardboard sleeve surrounding the lot.

this film costs £11.99 at play 247,so seems like a bargain for £3.99 if it`s any good,it`s supposed to be a bit of a cult classic,but can`t say that i have ever heard of it?

I saw it years ago on BBC Moviedrome. What ever happened to that?

Anyway the film is creepy with a good twist at the end. Well worth buying the mag for the film. Go for it.

I have it in my video collection.

It`s a great film and a bargain t`boot !

Remember it`s only a bargain if you need it!

bought the mag last night and have to say that i enjoyed the film even though i knew what was going to happen in the end?
picture quality is superb when you consider this film was made in 1962
also enjoyed the mag,some interesting reading.
hope to see more of these films free with dvd mags in the future
