www.ezydvd.com.au has every friends box set series at just over £26.00 inc p+p, just the same as play.com only cheaper. Region 4 but they are pal so they will play on region 2 players anyway.

PAL does not mean that they will play on Region 2 players. It just means they will play correctly on non NTSC compatible TVs.

It is true however that some Region 4 DVDs are dual coded Region 2 and 4. Dont know if this is true for Friends series.

Well, they are just region 4 but have played perfectly on two region 2 players that I have tried so far.

The Friends discs (European and Austrailian) are dual coded to region 2 and 4 (saved warner paying 2 sets of mastering costs)

Hi, Ican only see season one and two at the price you mention. These are NOT the same as the UK releases, these box sets only contain 3 discs each with 8 episodes. The uk versions contain 6 discs each with 4 episodes. These box sets do have the same content in each episode, but are the same as the Dutch versions.
As you can tell by the number of discs and the difference in the UK prices, we in the UK are being ripped off again.

Just to clarify season 1-6 in the U.K are 3 discs with 8 eps on each.
Season 7 onwards are the crappy 6 discs with 4 eps on each.

Just buy the dutch versions from www.dvdzone2.com

JE - thanks for the tip; I`ve just ordered my copy. I don`t think these are the `director`s cuts`, but frankly, who cares? They`re only a couple of minutes longer on average, and not worth the rip-off price of the UK editions.

just been to the site and they now say that international orders have shipping of $9.50 for the box sets so it push`s the price up to £33

the price is in australian dollars. AUD$9.50 works out at about £4 you also forgot the fact that we get 9% off cos we dont pay gst
