Page 1 of DVD+RW Discs

I recently bought a Philips DVD recorder (Model 1000). It only records DVD+RW discs. I want to buy a DVD player but none of the retailers can confirm that I will be able to play DVD+RW discs. In fact no one seems to know much about the compatability of DVD+RW. Has anybody got any suggestions please?

Your best bet is probably to take a DVD+RW disc with you when you go, and ask the retailer if you can try and play it. I`m sure they won`t object if there`s a potential sale in it for them.
