The dvd sounds pretty impressive and I can`t wait to hear that kickass soundtrack at home but there`s no sign of the director`s R-rated version as previously promised... in my opinion the one thing that kept DD from being a great comic book movie was the toning down of the violence and language.
no doubt come xmas time a R rated cut will be released
Thought it was crap anyway.
How`s that for constructive criticism ;-)

I`m with Ste, no matter what they tack onto this film, an adage from Stephen King`s Christine comes to mind..
"You can`t polish a turd"
LOL!!!
I think I`ll by it for that Comic Book doc itself. And as some HTS Demo material.
It wasn`t that bad a film. Colin Farrell as Ballseye was great, and it had jennifer garner in leather!
>>>It wasn`t that bad a film
Yes it was. It` was predictable and has bland dialogue. There`s no characterisation whatsoever. Anti-climactic ending with the Kingpin too. All in all, it`s one dull film and I almost got up to leave I was so bored. I didn`t want to think of wasting my £2.50 ticket though so I stayed.
Colin Farrell was good, as is just watching Jennifer in leather, but that`s it

Lucky bastard - at your local it costs only £2.50 to see a film? At my UCI, it is £3.75 for a U/PG/12A and £5.50 for a 15/18, so Daredevil set me back more than twice what you paid.
Good job I enjoyed it.

The splendid Showcase Cinema on a Monday before 5pm. It really is splendid. Matrix films for a mere £2.50 a ticket, here I come...I`ll see it more than once I`m sure. :-)
