Page 1 of R1 Blackadder 5 disk box set

I have seen this new edition sold for a very good price on a UK site but details of the set come with a heavy warning that Warner Brothers have stepped up their RCE coding and that the site will not accept returned DVDs should your player not play them, even if the player has been sold as `multi-region` and RCE proof.

I have a Toshiba SD-330 multi-region. Does anyone know whether my machine will play this boxset??????? Thanks

I got the R1 5 disc boxset a couple of years ago, are you sure it`s a NEW edition?

If it`s not, you should be fine. And it`s a fantastic set btw. :)

You are right. The edition I was talking about is about 2 years old but that is fairly new compared to some of the other Blackadder box sets.
Would Home Warner put new RCE coding on boxsets produced very recently, say this year???

It seemed good to me compared to at least 3 other R1 UK importers. Its £64.99 inc delivery from r1dvd.com (same for amazon.com USA). If you have seen it cheaper, please let me know.

Ouch. Think I paid just over 40 quid for mine. The most expensive DVD purchase ever for me but a must have. Lots of extras and the specials too. 8)

North American DVD are doing it for about £45 plus p&p

Which sounds like a good deal.

Can`t remember if they`re a company that may result in a custom`s sting though.

Only used them the twice, over a year ago last but were fine then. They did send a wrong disc but got a replacement out quickly.
