Page 1 of I HATE Paramount!
DVDs & Films Forum
I started watching my DVD of the Italian Job remake, at the layer change guess what happened. Nothing! Literally nothing, it just stopped playing. I don`t know what they did to the layer change, but they f**ked it up.
Anyone else having problems playing this on a CyberHome 400?
It might be better to try the disc on another machine before casting aspersions! Have you tried the disc on another player?

I don`t have another multi-region player to try it on. :(
I still hate Paramount anyway. >:(
Well, I have the R1 Italian Job remake, and it plays fine on my Toshiba SD330. It`s more likely a problem with your player than the DVD.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it is ;-)
I left the player off for a while and now it works. I guess it was just my player. :/
Don`t let the fact that your player was at fault get in the way of a decent grudge.
Bloody Paramount >:(
No particular reason ;)

Exactly! :D
You are right to hate Paramount,as their dvd`s are,on the whole, woefullly devoid of extras.Plus they refuse to release anything unrated, which is why the friday the 13th series (from 2 - 8) are terribly censored, along with "My Bloody Valentine".
Recently Kelsey Grammer had to step in to ensure the "Frasier" boxset contained a few extras,as Paramount were going to do their usual stellar job of bare bones releasing.Dvd extras are a big selling point which Paramount need to take onboard.Maybe the recent Jones Trilogy is a sign of things to come.
