Looks as if the longer (and far better) version of "The Shining" is coming out. At BBFC at the moment, along with "Spartacus" re-release.

The runtime is only 56 seconds longer than the current DVD, therefore it`s not the longer version. Get your facts straight. :p :D

I know there is a difference in the cuts, but what about A/V presentation and extras of the two? And is the extended cut better?

Extended cut by far better.
