Second Hand DVDs

the_medic (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 30th March 2001, 14:58

Does anyone buy 2nd hand DVDs? Unfortunately I`m too anal and have to buy new, but the ones I`ve seen in shops haven`t been particularly cheap anyway (£10-14). Anyone had any problems with 2nd hand disks?

I think I`ve bought half new and half second hand from Auctions. I wouldn`t pay more than a tenner for 2nd hand but I`ve been pleased so far with what I have bought quality wise.

I`ve bought 12 or 15 discs and had no probs, prices ranged from £8 - £12 (and that was for a week old copy of sixth sense!) The Matrix for a tenner (month old)

I only buy region 1 discs now unless, if it`s the same on region 2 and it`s released @ the same time which is unlikely.

Hope this helps, Longsightboy

Have bought a few from my local "Gamestation" and have had no probs. They usually cost £9.99, but...

Blockbuster are w------!

Went to buy Alien box set, £54.98 or something ridiculous. Supposed to be new, but they tried TWICE to fob me off with obvious ex-rentals that had more scratching on them than a Gangstarr record. Evil, just pure evil!
