DV-depot.com...QUALITY!

Took the plunge and ordered some region 1 DVD`s from DV-depot...first internet order ever.

And bugger me, was I impressed!

I went a bit mad (intended to order two, ended up ordering seven!...well, gotta make the most of the postage charge, haven`t you?). Placed order on evening of 27th; despatched 28th; received today, 30th.

Not only was it quicker than expected, all the discs were wrapped in kitchen towel, which was handy as I`d run out two days ago!

Superb service, thanks to those who recommended them. Have pre-ordered a couple of discs from DVD box office - hope their service is as efficient as DV-depot.

Big-up the DV-depot!

Just thought I`d let you all know!

arent they expensiver than dvdboxoffice? The prices look high. Plus they charge for postage. Are the disc sent seperately or are they shipped together as a bundle? How did u avoid customs? They would have you by the neck? I ordered 3 dvds worth £36 from cdnow.com and got lumbered with a £9.56 extra customs charge. They do charge if your order is over £18

Trust me dicanio, the service from http://www.dv-depot.com is second to none!

Like bigboy, I do my order in packs of se7en, and have had no probs and, as mentioned, they deliver in 2-4 days.

Hope this helps, you should give `em a try, you won`t be disappointed!

I compared prices, dicanio, and it was a case of swings and roundabouts - some were slightly dearer, some slightly cheaper. Ordering seven discs added £1.00 to the price of each, which I didn`t think too bad.

I was half expecting to get a customs charge as they were shipped together in a small box but no, I didn`t. Don`t know why, can anyone explain?

Hence the reasons I`m very impressed with them.

And thanks for the recommendation, Longsightboy! (And isn`t the kichen towel quality stuff?)

Read the forum on their site. Hundreds of UK customers saying no tax.

Used them a few times since they updated their site. All three times they were delivered within 2 days and no tax. :)

(Note: No company can guarentee no tax of packages over £18, instead they can just make it so the packages are less likely to be taxed, best not to post how they do it in case customs are reading)
