Recommend me some stand-up DVD`s...
Every weekend my mother and father have family and friends around for a drink, and sometimes they`ll and watch stand up DVD`s. Problem is, they`ve only got three... those being the two Peter Kay ones, and the Ricky Gervais `Animals` one.
I was just wondering if anybody could recommend any good stand up DVD`s worth getting?? Not really sure where to start to be honest... :/
Cheers! :D

Well one of the best stand-up performances in my opinion has just recently been released - `Richard Pryor Live in Concert`. Can`t go wrong with that, if the crinklies don`t mind fruity language. :)

Eddie Izzard Circle
Eddie Izzard Dress to kill
Ediiie Izzard Sexie
Bill Hicks one night stand
Totally Bill Hicks
Bill Bailey Bewilderness
Denis Leary No Cure for cancer (There is alot of swearing in that so it might not be suitable if they are easily offended)

Standing Room Only - Roy `Chubby` Brown
An Audience with Bernard Manning

bill cosby - himself (region 1) - best thing about it - no swearing!
eddie murphy - raw (out on region 1 next week, region 2 later this year)
enjoy!

I second the Bill Bailey suggestion. Also there`s a Ross Noble one coming out soon that should be a cracker (seen him live, and he was great).

I`d go for "Billy Connolly - Bites Yer Bum" and "An Audience with Billy Connolly". They`re a bit old, but they`re still a good laugh - probably funnier than a lot of his later stuff.

Cheers for all the advice guys. Have heard good things about Ross Nobles shows, so I may check that out. Also I think there`s a Ricky Gervais Politics DVD out soon, and there`ll undoubtedly be loads at Christmas (possibly a new Lee Evans one I think).
Anyone know what the Al Murray DVD is like?
Thanks again everybody! :D
