HELP: A more difficult one (I Think)

Hitchcocks_Puppet (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 7th June 2005, 12:24

Hi,

So what i can remember from this film is a ghostbusters like vehicle with a siren, and this car and the people who drive it abduct people and run them over i think, i cant actually remember any of the characters. What i can remember is never seeing the people inside the vehicle. The genre of the film is horror i think, i remember this because when i was little i was sent to my bedroom to go to sleep because it was supposedly too scary >:( . I would very much like the chance to finish watching this movie. Lets see if nickthegun can crack this one?

Regards
ChetZ

Sounds similiar to `The Car` from 1977, but probably not the one.

Yeh i can see how it might be the one, but i dont think it is. I can distinctley remember flashing ambulance lights and a siren! it was almost as if the car acted as a Phony ambulance or paramedic vehicle but then instead of saving people it just killed people. I Think that there was one person who realised what was happening (there always is one) and tried to stop, but im not entirely sure, infact that probably didnt even happen at all.

Don`t suppose it was "killer clowns from outer space" was it? :) Although, thinking about it, it was an ice-cream van, not an ambulance. Very funny film, although my neighbour swears black is blue that its a horror and is very scary!

No, i dont think there were any clowns in it, whats the name of the clowns from outer space film then! I may have to check it out!!

I knew this film would be hard, my very memories of it are sort here and there!! maybe i dream`t it, or had a nightmare? I dont think i did, because i can remember other people watching it as well. I`ve suddenly just remembered that this ambulance like car can drive up stair ways (dont ask how i remember that, cause i have no clue). I can also now remember an old woman being taken away in the vehicle. Maybe im accessing parts of the brain that i`ve never used before :¦

The clown movie is called "Killer Clowns from Outer Space".

Found it on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005K3O4/102-7494902-0258558?v=glance&tag=myrev09-21

It is very funny, but I wouldn`t pay that much for it.

Enjoy "The Ambulance"
