Page 1 of SC2000 DVD NOT PLAY R1 SNATCH

I have a problem with Region 1 Snatch, it comes up saying that will not play on modified multi region DVD, this seems to be because of the new RCE that Warner & Columbia pictures have put on the DVD. As an extra I can play Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon which also is RCE but play perfectly

Is there not some disc swopping thing that you can do to fool the player into thinking it`s not a RCE disc?
If I were you I`d keep clear of RCE discs just to be sure.

I had the same problem with The 6th Day.

You have to change to region 1 from Multi region.
No disc inside: Press- setup, title, step, next = secret menu.
Scroll down to region code then set to region 1.
When you have played RCE disc reset to multi region again following same proceedure as above but set to "Bypass" for multi region.

Do all above with remote.

Hope this helps.

If you upgrade the Scan`s firmware to version 2.33 or above ,you will not get this problem with RCE disks.
