LOTR: The Two Towers - The battle for Helms Deep
Kingdom of Heaven - The siege of Jerusalem
Saving Private Ryan - The beach landings
Spartacus - There is a great one but I can`t remember the place
Braveheart - Bannockburn(?)
Master and Commander: TFSOTW - First battle between HMS Surprise and Acheron

LOTR: Fellowship Of The Ring - both the Mines Of Moria and Amon Hen
Black Hawk Down - everything after they land in Mogadishu
Starship Troopers - the outpost
similarly... Antz - the Ant vs Termite ultra-violence :D
Pearl Harbor - the director`s cut version is more violent and far better, despite the presence of Ben Affleck
and not really a battle, but... Lawrence Of Arabia - the charge on Aqaba
again, not sure if this counts, but... Kill Bill Vol. 1 - The House Of Blue Leaves

EDIT: Also, while the rest of the film may be crap, the battle of Gaugamela in Alexander is one of my favourites, mainly for those soaring-Eagle ultra-wide-angle arial shots.

Battle of Britain
All Quiet on the Western Front (the original). Probably still one of the best depictions of trench warfare.

the opening kung fu scene in team america!!!! lol

Aliens - The siege battle with the auto turrets
ESB - Hoth scene. Just brilliant.
Superman 2 - 4 way super showdown outside the daily planet
Army of Darkness - Just because its funny. And evil ash rules. So does the steampowered car.

Zulu and the end battle (sticky bombs) in Private Ryan. :)

Pick one of several from Apocalypse Now.

Ride of the Valkaryes springs to mind.
